Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the theatre. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years before trying her hand at television as well as film roles. In 1992 Anna landed her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
